Binge Eating

Eating disorders have always been a large part of our society and then affect millions of Americans. A newly recognized disorder is Binge eating. Those who suffer from this condition eat great amounts of food. They tend to feel a loss of control over their eating. Bing eaters do not purge after eating by using vomiting or laxatives. Eating a large quantity of food does not necessarily mean you have this disorder. Many people over eat and feel too full afterwards. There are a few simples of people who have a very serious case of the disorder. Some of the simples are eating a very large portion of food often, they could have feelings of not being in control of how much they are eating, eating until uncomfortably full, eating large portions when not hungry and they could have feelings of guilt and disgust with themselves after this act of over eating. Binge eating also is seen in the disorder bulimia nervosa, the person then gets rid of the contents that they ate through different forms of purging.
